How does big time stars influence the political spectrum?
I think that famous stars that have a big following have a very big influence on people.
It's OK to have an opinion, but when you are a big star and half the people in the US believe everything you say, they can influence your vote.
It's just as bad as the media if not worse trying to build ratings.
Should famous people be able to influence your votes? 
What do you think? 

I haven't posted in a while due to trying to understand the direction this great nation is going.
One of the things I have understood was the fact that our media is part of the problem, and have known this from the start.
I would consider the media a tabloid for publishing and producing political propergand against the American people.
The American people are being brainwashed from the media  to build ratings.
When the ratings go up sponsors pay big money to have spots in their shows, this is how the media makes their money.
 The way the media can build a big audience is by beefing up their shows just a bit.
One way of doing this is by playing sides in political elections to pretty much fabricating their own lies.
Remember the media is only out their to make money and if they can build their audience then they can piss off one side of the political party, and build the other side, because when you are a die hard Republican or Democrat you will believe what ever they say as long as it is in the good for your party
This draws people in like a big worm to a large mouth bass.
I am a true independent and would never chose a side, I must remain open minded so that I can see the big show, and that's all it is.
The more people that see this and understand that the media is just a reality show the stronger this nation will pull together.
